Santosh Sekar is a finance, technology, and manufacturing professional, and a respected advisor. He seeks opportunities to apply his expertise gained from years of driving results in both large corporations as well as smaller firms. His broad set of experiences and skills stem from roles as varied as leader of a family-owned business that creates and monetizes intellectual property, successfully licensing patents to some of the largest manufacturing organizations in the U.S., to that of an M&A professional for American Express, where he valued entire credit card portfolios for transactions. He has also worked as an equity research analyst for a hedge fund, providing investment recommendations and financial analysis across a universe of over 20 software and business services companies, and as an infrastructure engineer for Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for evaluating, engineering, and deploying new infrastructure technologies in the U.S. and abroad.
Santosh is driven by the challenges of solving operational, financial, and technical challenges faced by organizations, evaluating investment opportunities in public and privately-held assets, unlocking value through the creation of intellectual property, and deriving actionable insights from research and analysis. He received his B.S. in Engineering Management Systems from the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science, and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He is also certified to provide neuroleadership assessments and coaching from Leading Brains in Switzerland.
