Mirella brings experience in diverse types of research to Elicit™; she has worked as a research assistant in both a high-level systems neuroscience laboratory and in a journalistic setting, researching the nuances and details of food systems of past and present. She also has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, which has cultivated a deep appreciation of the care and respect for clients valued by Elicit™ and high-level restaurants alike. Along with her work experience, she is interested in the promotion and support of thoughtful strategy to ensure that entrepreneurs achieve their goals in the most efficient way possible.
Mirella is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University with a degree in French Translation and Literature with honors. She will pursue graduate studies in linguistics in 2019 and hopes to work in the documentation of endangered African languages.
